Thursday the 4th of June . . .
Culture and beauty descended on the Teatro Ridotto at the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal, in Venice, to mark the opening of the Biennale d'Arte.

The celebration was jointly hosted by Daily Beast Editor-in-Chief Tina Brown, the Benetton Group's Executive Chairman, Alessandro Benetton and Pace Wildenstein gallery owner, Arne Glimcher.

The beautiful venue (historically linked to the world's most famous lover, Casanova), heralded an united commitment — by all involved — to celebrate the artworld.
