Charity Events: Escada Free Arts NYC
Escada's Creative Director, Damiano Biella was honoured at a celebration at Saks Fifth Avenue on Thursday the 30th of October 2008.
Hilary Swank, Duffy, Amy Sacco, Ronald Frasch, Michael Strahan, Heloise Williams, Miri Ben-Ari and many more; attended the event which also benefited Free Arts NYC.
Free Arts NYC is a charity aimed at providing under-served children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs that help them to foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential.
The evening included a spectacular performance by DUFFY.

Charity Events: Through the Looking Glass
Celebrities Out In Force for Charity Event Kelly Rowland, Pearl Lowe, the Duchess of York and charity ambassdor Natalie Imbruglia, were among those who descended on East London last night (Wednesday, 5th of November), to help promote Through the Looking Glass; an annual charity event founded by Sir Richard Branson aimed at eradicating Fistula: a life-shattering childbirth injury which affects thousands of women in Nigeria.
Rowland, who performed at the event, also expressed her happiness at the news that Barack Obama had become the new US Elect President, a sentiment shared by Rita Marley (former wife of reggae legend Bob Marley), who made a surprise appearance.
