Ralph Lauren's stylish Icons of Grass Kensington Roof Gardens, in London, was the venue for
American luxury designer Ralph Lauren and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour pre-Wimbledon party.
The event heralded the start of the Wimbledon tennis season and saw a diverse selection of guests attend, like: Princess Beatrice of York, Princess Eugenie of York, Sarah Ferguson, Sir Richard Branson, Sam Branson, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Imogen Lloyd-Webber, Jason Isaacs, Martine McCutcheon, Meg Matthews, Heidi Range and Caprice; all of whom enjoyed a summer barbeque accompanied by Seared Tuna, Poached Salmon and Summer Bean Salad, followed with Strawberries & Cream.
Polo Ralph Lauren is linked to the prestigious tennis championship, through its exclusive deal that sees it as the Official Outfitter of Wimbledon — the first Designer in Wimbledon’s 129 year history to create an outfit for all on-court officials including chair umpires, line umpires and ball persons. The signature navy blue and cream collection has since become synonymous with English tennis and established Polo Ralph Lauren as a key partner of the Wimbledon tournament.

WHAT’S WRONG FOR YOU, COULD BE RIGHT TO HELP CHARITY BEAT CANCER Tara Palmer Tomkinson and Olympian Mark Foster are fronting a new campaign which urges people to donate unwanted goods to stock-starved Cancer Research UK shops.
The celebrity duo have taken part in an unconventional photo shoot alongside a young cancer survivor, to help launch the charity’s new Wrong For You, Right For Us stock appeal.
As more and more credit crunched Brits snap up charity shop bargains, store managers are struggling to stock their shelves. But by posing in kids’ staples like jeans and trainers beside flamboyantly dressed Jack McGrath, 10, and little sister Daisy, six, Tara and Mark are hoping to encourage UK shoppers to donate unwanted items to Cancer Research UK’s 600 high street shops.
Tara said: “I’ve got lots of things in my wardrobe that no longer suit me but may suit others.
“So supporting Cancer Research UK’s Wrong For You, Right For Us campaign is certainly an easy way for me to do my bit and help beat cancer.”
Swimmer and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ hunk Mark Foster has pledged to empty his wardrobe of unused clothes after being introduced to the inspirational Jack and Daisy.
Mark said: "Meeting Jack and Daisy, who have gone through so much at such a young age, has certainly motivated me to do whatever I can to help my local Cancer Research UK shop.”
Seven out of ten children with cancer are now successfully treated and with each bag of shop donations worth as much as £30 for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work, many more lives could be saved with every wardrobe that’s cleared out.

Race in style for 2009
Liz McClarnon has already proved herself a talented songstress, television presenter and master chef. Now she is adding another string to her bow, as the designer of a limited edition t-shirt to launch Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life 2009 series.
A fresh design for S/S '09, McClarnon’s white t-shirt features a feminine print with pretty flower detailing in bright pink, one of the season’s hottest shades as seen at the Matthew Williamson and Alexander Wang catwalk shows.
Channelling the strong, positive messages of Race for Life, the fashionable t-shirt will raise the vital funds for research into beating cancer.
McClarnon said: “I was inspired after I took part in Race for Life last year and I wanted my design to be a celebration of life with a bright, vibrant splash of colour.
