LONDON FASHION WEEK S/S 05
This season's edition of London Fashion Week saw established designers: Julien MacDonald, Paul Smith, Betty Jackson and Jasper Conran deliver their vision for S/S '05 as well as New Generation designers (sponsored by TOPSHOP): Giles, Ashish, Gardem and Swash produce their first catwalk show.

London Designers Exhibition
As for the Designers Exhibition, US Denim wear label Yanuk, handbag designer Jas MB and UK favourites Mulberry and Ally Capellino headlined the group of designers showcasing their collections at the Exhibition.

In the past, the exhibition has helped the likes of Bill Amberg, Sophia Kokosalaki, Matthew Williamson and Jenny Packham to build their business on an international stage.

Below are some of the highlights taken from the shows. . .

Designer: Ben de Lisi
Ben de Lisi's
latest design installment saw a rainbow of the most visually stunning colours dyed on fabric that effortlessly enhanced the model's curves to exude feminity.

Sexily cut dresses that swayed down to the catwalk, to leave just enough to the imagination and the palatable rest to the eye, showed his adept talent for dress design.

Interspersed in all the glamour were separates that stuck to the same colour scheme, but used everyday formats like: the rainmac, skirt, cropped jacket and blouse to leave a tantalising after taste on how women should dress.

Models Spotted: -
Prominent Colours: Purple, cream, yellow, pink, white, mint green
Accessories: Adler, corsages

Designer: BOYD
Tracey Boyd
submerged herself in the creative garden of her imagination to produce a collection saturated with pieces that draw on her appreciation for beautiful flowers.

Embroidered or printed along the hems of dresses, skirts, jackets and bikinis (or as the canvass), the collection saw the designer cleverly incorporate the beauty of flowers into variety of manifestations to yield a ethereal collection that worked.

Standout pieces included: a flapper chocolate dress with sequin belt (think F. Scott Fitzgerald's book This Side of Paradise but, without the beads), belted denim short sleeve jacket with sequin white skirt and a host of baby-doll styled smock tops that were delicately embellished with flowers. Breath-taking.

Models Spotted:
Elizabeth Jagger, Lily Cole
Prominent Colours: White, peach, pink, blue, indigo, denim, red lime-green
Accessories: tan wide belts, embroidered sashes
